TOKYO, JAPAN – Liberia’s track and field star is on to the semifinals of her respective events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Liberian 100 meter star Ebony Morrison
secured Liberia’s spot in the Women’s 100mH semifinals after her performance at 13.00 second run. She came sixth in her heat which consisted of the current Women’s 100mH world record holder. The top four runners from each heat automatically qualified for the semifinals along with the next four fastest times between all heats. Morrison’s time placed her in the top 24, which means she will rep Liberia again on Sunday Aug 1.
